Mission Statement.

The Rapha Project equips and resources partners through training and intervention in trauma informed approaches to promote healing for those impacted by trauma.  

Examples of trauma: abuse (physical, emotional, sexual, verbal); assault (sexual, physical); displacement (i.e. refugees); natural disasters; man-made disasters (i.e. war; terrorist attacks); life threatening accidents (individual or communal)

 

Strategic Objectives.

Training. Providing comprehensive training on understanding the impact of trauma on individuals and communities, and equipping participants with effective skills in stabilizing those that have experienced trauma and skills to help individuals move towards healing. 

Intervention. Providing personalized intervention for those impacted by trauma in individual and/or group settings.

Sustainability. For sustainable impact The Rapha Project is building partnerships that are long lasting, and tended to regularly. The hope would be to take partners through training, and after that shepherd them through an experiential process of working with individuals impacted by trauma while getting feedback and oversight from our team.
