Mission Statement.
The Rapha Project equips and resources partners through training on trauma, dissociation, and Organized Extreme Abuse; and offers confidential, informed, and secure intervention to survivors of Organized Extreme Abuse.
Definition of Organized Extreme Abuse: Abuse with an end goal that utilizes structured methods to manipulate attachment needs of the victim to achieve extreme conditioning through sadistic torture and exploitation. (associated acronyms SRA, RAMCOA)
Examples:
abuse perpetrated by cults or high-control religions;
abuse perpetrated by gangs, cartels, clandestine cells, or trafficking rings;
abuse perpetrated by multiple government officials, healthcare professionals, or teachers;
abuse perpetrated by insular communities and generational familial networks.
Strategic Objectives.
Training. Providing comprehensive training on understanding the nature of trauma, dissociation, and impacts of organized extreme abuse. This will include how to recognize survivors of it as well as how to begin helping them move towards healing.
Care. Providing specialized programs that create confidential and secure settings that allow survivors to begin healing and achieve freedom from organize extreme abuse networks and situations. Healing will focus on effective therapy, safe environment, and aiding the survivor in belonging to their self.
Sustainability. For sustainable impact The Rapha Project is building partnerships that are long lasting, and tended to regularly. There are 3 options to this: 1) Take partners through training, and after that support them through consultation as they work with OEA survivors, 2) be a place for partners to refer OEA survivors for care, and 3) come together in a shared vision to help the same survivors through leveraging our unique resources, skills, and visions for the wellbeing of those survivors.
